Role Location: UK Wide – Field based / home working / travel both inside and outside the UK

Role Reporting to: General Manager

Our established and successful Client is a leading Printer and Converter of Flexible Packaging, specialising in the printing and conversion of films, paper, aluminium foil and laminate structures. They are seeking to expand their current sales team by appointing a Sales Executive to generate new business from across all market sectors by evaluating customer needs and promoting solutions from their range of products and services.

Main duties/responsibilities:

  • Confidently promote and sell our Client’s full range of flexible packaging solutions across all market sectors.
  • Generate prospects, follow up leads, and convert into profitable new business.
  • Deliver presentations to prospective clients to aid business development.
  • Maintain and develop good relationships with customers to achieve profitable business growth.
  • Represent the Company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
  • Provide input into the Company’s sales and marketing strategies, in identifying new business opportunities and threats to the business.
  • Liaise closely with internal functions, eg Customer Services, Technical, Process Development, QA.

Person specification:

  • Proven sales background in the flexible packaging industry is essential.
  • Knowledge of gravure and / or Flexo and associated conversion processes would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrable ability to generate leads and contact decision makers using a variety of approaches, eg cold calling, networking, research.
  • Must be capable of presenting effective and innovative solutions to customers.
  • Must have excellent influencing, negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Current and valid UK driving licence is essential.
  • Competent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Email) are essential.
  • Must have access to suitable / secure home office accommodation.

  • Printing machines from 1 to 9 colours.
  • BOPP, Paper, PET Printing
  • Soft & Hard Tempered Foil Printing
  • In-Line PVdC coating
  • In-Line Coldseal
  • In-Line Acrylic coating

Lamination:

  • State of the art laminators which can be linked together
  • Unique Triplex lamination
  • In Line Printing and coating
  • Ability to laminate up to 700mu materials
  • Strip Lamination

Slitting:

  • High speed slitting machines
  • Foil slitting machine

Other Capabilities:

  • Pouch and Bag Making
  • Single Mono-layer heat seal coated lidding films
  • Digital Printing
  • Short Run ability for mock ups and samples
  • Doy Pack Supply
