This is an outstanding opportunity to be our prestigious Client’s Product Champion and drive sales of their Office Papers range via its Sales Branches in the North of England and Southern Scotland.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Sales Management & People Management experience with a high level of Digital / Office Paper Product Knowledge and an aligned understanding of the Narrow Format Digital Print sector.
- Sales Coaching and mentoring experience is highly advantageous – both Internal Sales and Field Sales staff / including joint calls.
- Track record of results analysis and sales development planning to drive product and market knowledge / lead generation and sales & margin improvements.
Main Job Purpose
Be the company Digital / Narrow Format Paper Sales Specialist supporting our Client’s sales team members based in several Sales Offices in the North of England / Southern Scotland and to promote the profitable growth of the Office Papers range to our Client’s Branches/Divisions.
Coverage: Northern England / Southern Scotland – from the North West over to Yorkshire up to the North East and up to Central Belt of Scotland.
Ensure all Branches/Account Managers receive equal attention to achieve the Digital margin budget within a designated Branch/Division. Drive sales forward and help achieve market leader status in Digital Media by developing sales plans and incentives at Branch, Customer, Product and individual sales personnel levels. Maintain sales reporting methodology on Digital customers by Account Manager down to product level and continue to improve the YTD Digital margin % of each of the Branches/Division’s total margin.
Job Tasks
- Train and motivate the Branch sales teams to increase Digital sales.
- Joint call on Digital accounts with Branch sales force.
- Control pricing and margin mentality of Digital products.
- Formulate individual sales personnel targets by Digital customers based on products purchased from the Digital portfolio.
- Produce sales analysis of Digital sales at Product/ Branch/ Salesman and Account level.
- Analyse results and discuss with line manager, Regional Directors, Branch Managers, individual sales personnel.
- Formulate plans to rectify areas of concern/poor performance and see through desired improvements in performance.
- Develop close relationships with key Digital accounts and be the leading Company contact, working alongside branch personnel.
- Attend Regional Managers meetings to discuss Branch & Regional Digital results and Digital developments.
- Attend branch sales meetings to discuss Branch and individual performance and Digital product developments.
- Nurture and develop key relationships with OEMs and key OEM Resellers to become the local contact for the Company in developing new leads for branches in area and promote portfolio for their digital sheet fed presses.
- Represent and promote Digital media at appropriate exhibitions, customer open days and OEM/Reseller activities.
- Develop customer incentives and drive through results at a local level.
Remuneration
Between £40,000-£50,000 DOE, company car or car allowance. 25 days holiday, pension plus life assurance and single person private medical insurance (BUPA).
