This forward‑thinking business is seeking a dynamic, results‑driven Senior Sales Consultant to join its Sales Team and help grow and develop sales opportunities. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, this pivotal role will be integral to driving sales in a successful and thriving environment. As Senior Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for establishing and executing sales strategies, engaging with clients, and identifying new opportunities to propel continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a clear and actionable sales plan.
- Set and execute sales targets to ensure company growth.
- Conduct LinkedIn research and updates to maintain and grow prospecting channels.
- Perform outgoing phone calls (for research and validation purposes, not cold calling).
- Analyse lapsed and non‑active accounts to revive and convert opportunities.
- Research potential new sectors to expand reach and market presence.
- Monitor and analyse competitor activity to inform strategy.
- Review sales activity and outcomes weekly to ensure alignment with goals and KPIs.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Successful creation and execution of the Sales Plan and meeting sales targets.
- Close collaboration with the Marketing team to generate qualified leads.
- Achievement of agreed KPIs for qualified lead generation and conversion rates.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 4‑5 years in Sales with a track record of success.
- Proven ability to develop and execute Sales Plans, as well as support lead generation campaigns.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for various audiences and channels.
- Strong analytical skills to research, interpret data, and make informed strategic decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent collaboration skills to effectively work with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
- Previous experience in either print, fulfilment or omni channel communication delivery, desirable.
