Our Client is an established and successful producer of custom presentation products including ring binders, folders, and media packaging. They seek an additional member of staff to work in their sales team as an account manager and estimator.
Responsibilities:
- Put together quotes for qualified leads and follow up these quotes at a suitable time.
- Take and make phone calls to and from customers; listen to customers and ask questions to find out more about their needs; suggest solutions from the range of products we offer.
- Quote standard products using a comprehensive pricing system or with prices available on the website.
- Provide solutions and quote for non-standard products based on cost of materials and labour.
- Follow up leads at suitable points until the order is confirmed or lost.
- Update customer and order information in the system.
- Take orders.
- Keep in touch with key clients using the Customer Relationship Management software.
Working Hours: 9am–5pm with half hour lunch break or 9am–5.30pm with 1 hour lunch break.
Potential Roles:
- Senior role: Background in print; able to put together pricing for complex products based on cost of materials and labour, interpreting brief given by customer and providing a solution and price based on available processes. Salary approx £25k per annum.
- Less senior role: Background in print; not necessarily expected to work out prices based on interpretation of customer spec and materials/labour available. Salary approx £18.5k–£22k per annum.
