Our client is a dynamic direct marketing agency specializing in campaign strategy and execution. They work with a wide variety of clients to provide exciting, highly targeted and effective communications.
We have an opening in their account management team. We are looking for an account manager with a flair for client communication and an understanding of consumer behaviour. Your role will involve providing high-level, proactive, helpful and value added client service and account management through the organisation of all relevant creative, print, production and postage services.
Responsibilities
- Manage several accounts and often be the face of the company to many clients.
- Prepare client quotes and invoices, check supplier quotes, prepare purchase orders and ensure profitability of each job.
- Brief external suppliers from artwork, data and print through to fulfilment and postage.
- Check all information thoroughly and proofread accurately.
- Suggest new formats and provide feedback on improvements to clients and the Client Services team.
- Manage and coordinate delivery of existing client direct marketing activity to agreed budget and timescales.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with accounts, clients and suppliers.
- Be happy to roll up your sleeves and stay hands-on.
Qualifications & Skills
- Solid knowledge of postage – must have.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals at all organisational levels.
- Organised and able to prioritise work load.
- Proactive and self‐motivated.
- Strong numeracy skills, ability to understand data and briefs.
- Good natured and considerate.
- Ability to actively participate in brainstorming and accurately record ideas generated.
- Good use and knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure.
