About the Role

Our client is a highly dynamic fast‑growing print business and is seeking an Indigo Operator with extensive knowledge of an HP Indigo pre‑press environment and associated software used to ensure file delivery and reproduction is carried out efficiently. Lead times can often be highly demanding, so the successful applicant will show an ability to prioritise tasks, think logically and methodically, and work well in a team while communicating efficiently with peers. The role is permanent, 8 am – 5 pm, 42.5 hrs per week on a five‑day (Mon – Fri) working week.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Processing, imposing and sending files to our HP Indigo digital press using industry standard software.
  • File manipulation where necessary.
  • Customer liaison.
  • Variable data job processing.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, and SmartStream.
  • Proficiency in Enfocus Pitstop.
  • Good understanding of Enfocus Switch workflows.
  • Works in an Apple Mac environment.

Additional Requirements

Applicants must be resident in the United Kingdom and have recently worked in the print, packaging or paper sectors.
