As Senior Creative Account Manager you are responsible for developing strong client relationships and delivering day-to-day support on all client account activity, working in conjunction with the wider business delivery / expertise.
Your responsibility is to ensure that all projects aremanaged in line with client policies and procedures. You are the pivotalday-to-day contact, liaising with colleagues across various departmentsincluding Design, Digital, Studio & Production, trafficking projects throughto end delivery.
Working as an integral part of the marketing team, sharingthe client’s vision and ethos and delivering excellence client service.
Key responsibilities
Client Internal/External
• To build,manage and develop the client relationship to ensure client’s expectations arefully met
• To liaisewith all stakeholders on a daily basis, developing and writing new briefs andliaising internally with various departments across to ensure smooth projectmanagement of all projects and campaigns, and that all client deliverydeadlines are managed
• To manageall workflow through Creative, Digital and Studio & Production teams,providing updates to colleagues and clients
• Toidentify how we can contribute to the clients’ strategy and delivers theopportunity to do so
• Work withthe Account Director to embrace change and offer innovative thinking
• A brandambassador within the agency for your clients
• Preparationof documentation for client meetings – weekly status, monthly update andquarterly review.
Financial
• Accurateestimating, invoicing and monthly budget reconciliation
• Forecastingand forward planning of clients spend
• Identifyand maximise cost saving opportunities
• Identifyand introduce new opportunities where appropriate
• To developMI to aid future client planning
• To ensuremonth end MI and KPI reports are completed on time, are 100% accurate anddistributed to client
Strategy and Leadership
• Understandscompetitors and positioning in the market
• Isknowledgeable in the clients’ sector and mindful of changes that could affectclients’ strategy
• Instil inyour team a good understanding of the business strategy
• Shareunderstanding of your client accounts with the wider team
• Continualdevelopment of Client Development Plans for key clients, identifying newinitiatives
• Work withAccount Director in delivery of additional service lines.
People Management
• Liaisewith the wider Account Management team to ensure resources remain in line withclient needs – holds regular 1-2-1 with Account Director
• DevelopAccount Managers to confidently communicate our proposition and services toclient
• Manageworkload effectively, seeking opportunities to expand knowledge, grow anddevelop
• Shareknowledge and best practice with colleagues, internal departments and otherbusiness units
Operational
• Manageand communicate to all concerned parties on major campaigns, providing budgetsand timing plans
• Produceminutes from review meetings and circulate as agreed
• Keep theclient advised on all new developments within our client
• Offerproactive advice to the client and initial briefing and planning stages, andthroughout project delivery phase
• Flexiblein your approach to workload and task allocation to ensure client demands aremet
• Resolveissues, escalating to Account Director where appropriate, including anycontract risks identified.
