A leading provider of direct mail solutions is looking for a Continuous Laser Print Operator to join its production team.

Main purpose of the role:

The position requires working on continuous Nipson and cut sheet fed Ricoh / Develop laser printers. The primary responsibility is to set up, adjust, safely operate, and maintain programmable printers. The operator will ensure each product meets job instruction specifications and passes relevant QC checks.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate Nipson / Ricoh / Develop laser printers with automated positioning by performing necessary calculations.
  • Set up and operate a Tecnau / Spedo / Laurenti sheeter and a Hunker reel stand and unwind.
  • Monitor assigned machines to ensure adherence to specifications and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and speed.
  • Perform quality checks and stack finished products according to job specifications.
  • Accurately record production data on company timesheets.
  • Operate equipment at optimal levels to meet job deadlines.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • At least 2 years of laser printer experience, preferably continuous laser printer experience.
  • Strong visual skills with an eye for detail.
  • A good team ethic and willingness to assist others.
  • Physical fitness suitable for this demanding role.
  • Commitment to high standards of work.
  • Adherence to good health and safety practices.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy production area.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with direct mail is beneficial.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and occasional overtime, including weekends.

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Shifts from 6 am to 2 pm or 2 pm to 10 pm.
