Social network you want to login/join with:A Glasgow based graphics company is seeking a great all-rounder to take on the role of Commercial Manager, dealing with both procurement and financial activities.You must have a proven track-record in Commercial Management, with responsibility spanning Sales liaison, finance and accounts, estimating, material buying and supplier outsourcing. Possessing comprehensive estimating & commercial experience, you will lead & develop a team to ensure that estimating propositions or buying decisions are soundly based, through the maintenance of a range of approved suppliers that deliver quality and continuity of supply – including supplier service agreements.The role will entail the following duties:CommercialCreate new commercial relationshipsConduct project meetings, site surveys and supervising site installationsAttend project meetings with architects/designers and construction professionalsLiaise with production department and suppliers to manage work-flow and qualityTo gain a full understanding of what can be achieved and to communicate that effectively and to our clients commercial advantageManaging the Estimating functionManage sales, admin and production teamsMaterial buying and supplier outsourcingFull monthly management accounts and year end preparation including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and KPI analysisProduction of monthly and annual budgets and forecastsContract/Costing AccountingPreparation of in depth variance analysis including labour & overhead analysis and costing work & pricing analysisBank reconciliationsResponsibility for Monthly PayrollsEnsure the preparation of quarterly VAT returns in line with current tax legislation, submission of returns, communication with HMRC and timely payment of tax due.The successful candidate will be:Experienced in a senior Commercial Manager or Finance Manager role.Confident – Able to hold theirown in management meetings.highly numerate with good spreadsheet skillsResults driven & highly accurate.Have a full in depth all round accounts experience in a similar positionHave good IT Skills and have an in depth knowledge of Sage Line 50 Payroll and Accounting.Able to demonstrate initiative, self-reliance and sound decision making, and encourage others within a team to do the sameHighly numerate combined with an enquiring and analytical mindShare this job:#J-18808-Ljbffr
