We are seeking an experienced HP Indigo Operator to join a busy and quality-focused digital print environment. The role is hands-on and requires strong technical knowledge of HP Indigo presses, alongside a commitment to colour accuracy, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate HP Indigo digital presses to produce high-quality printed work
- Set up jobs accurately, including substrates, inks, and finishing specs
- Monitor print quality, colour consistency, and registration throughout runs
- Carry out routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of the press
- Work closely with pre-press and finishing teams to meet job requirements
- Ensure jobs are completed to schedule and to customer specifications
- Identify and resolve print issues efficiently to minimise downtime
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience operating HP Indigo presses
- Strong understanding of colour management and digital print processes
- Experience printing onto a range of substrates and applications
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Flexible approach to working hours, including shifts if required
Desirable
- HP Indigo certification or manufacturer training
- Experience commercial digital print
