Due to continued growth, our client seeks an experienced Account Director to take ownership of a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery whilst identifying opportunities to strengthen and develop long-term client relationships. This is a commercially focused role that will suit an individual who enjoys working closely with customers, managing complex projects and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the client journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for strategic and operational account matters.
  • Manage projects from brief through to delivery, ensuring deadlines, quality and budget requirements are met.
  • Work closely with internal production, estimating, customer service and operational teams.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and additional services.
  • Ensure client expectations are consistently exceeded through proactive communication and service excellence.
  • Monitor account performance and prepare regular business reviews.
  • Support commercial negotiations and contract discussions where required.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in an Account Director, Senior Account Manager or similar client-facing role within the print industry.
  • Strong commercial awareness and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent project management and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good understanding of print production processes and the ability to work effectively with operational teams.
  • Experience across general print solutions is highly desirable, with exposure to direct mail campaigns and associated fulfilment activities considered particularly advantageous.
