The role reports to the General Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the pre-press and print production areas, covering all printing processes.
  • Ensure the department achieves the Production Plan and operates efficiently within labour, material usage, and budget constraints, achieving minimum machine performance efficiencies.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of flexographic printing presses.
  • Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing or FMCG environment, with management experience.
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
  • Computer-literate with advanced Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of efficiency and profitability improvements.
  • Professionally trained in management disciplines and understanding of modern tools and techniques.
  • Strategic approach with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques, demonstrated at a practical level.
  • Strong awareness of current HSE and employment legislation.
