The role reports to the General Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the pre-press and print production areas, covering all printing processes.
- Ensure the department achieves the Production Plan and operates efficiently within labour, material usage, and budget constraints, achieving minimum machine performance efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of flexographic printing presses.
- Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing or FMCG environment, with management experience.
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
- Computer-literate with advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrated track record of efficiency and profitability improvements.
- Professionally trained in management disciplines and understanding of modern tools and techniques.
- Strategic approach with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques, demonstrated at a practical level.
- Strong awareness of current HSE and employment legislation.
