Our Packaging Client is a leading supplier of business-critical products and solutions, supporting organisations across manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, fulfilment and logistics environments throughout the UK. Known for their commitment to service, innovation and long-term partnerships, they are now looking to appoint an ambitious sales professional to drive growth across a key territory.
This is a genuine hunter role, reporting to the Managing Director, and is ideal for someone who enjoys identifying opportunities, developing relationships and converting prospects into long-term customers.
The Opportunity
In a field based role covering South West England & South Wales you will take full ownership of developing new business opportunities across your territory. You will be responsible for building your own pipeline, engaging with key decision-makers, understanding operational challenges and delivering tailored solutions that add real value to customers’ businesses. Your customer base will typically include organisations within manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, logistics, fulfilment and wider supply chain environments. Working closely with internal teams, you will manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting and first contact through to negotiation, conversion and successful onboarding of new accounts.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven success in a B2B Packaging Sales or business development role
- Strong track record of winning new business and consistently developing pipeline
- Confident engaging and building relationships with decision-makers at all levels
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong commercial awareness with a focus on profitable growth rather than volume alone
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Self-motivated, resilient and target-driven
- Experience selling into manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, fulfilment, industrial or distribution sectors would be highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of products or solutions used within warehousing, dispatch, packaging, logistics, materials handling, industrial consumables or wider supply chain environments would be beneficial.
However, we are equally interested in speaking with successful business development professionals who have a proven ability to win new business and build strong customer relationships, regardless of specific product background.
