A market leading creative and luxury packaging partner for many of the most iconic brands aims to grow into existing and new markets that align with core values, and is looking for a New Business Development Manager to support this. This is an opportunity that will offer genuine career progression opportunities for a professional and passionate salesperson with experience in the luxury / branded packaging sector.
The primary focus of the role will be to build and own new, complimentary and sustainable business relationships with design agencies and creative brands. There will also be the opportunity to cement your place in the Senior Management team, with a view to possible employee ownership options.
You will be required to fully understand and work within a well-established system, to manage workflow and enable you and your colleagues to deliver outstanding solutions for your clients.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Identifying new and profitable revenue streams within the luxury packaging sector.
- Successfully managing your sales pipeline.
- Attending client meetings and managing your clients' requirements from initial briefing, through development to end result, supported by the in-house team.
- Accurately and professionally developing specifications from client through to supply base, ensuring that colleagues are able to partner with you for ultimate delivery of product.
- Managing your own diary whilst taking into consideration the wider team.
As a manager/leader in the company, you will also be expected to help drive social and environmental impact in the company. Driving such impact could include:
- Advocating the value of social and environmental impact to the team and as a leader in the business (e.g. championing sustainability through products and services).
- Seeking and delivering work which not only delivers commercial value, but increases the social and environmental impact that we make for clients/customers.
- Looking for new opportunities to help drive social and environmental initiatives, e.g. charity partnerships, volunteering, carbon offsetting etc.
- Meeting with the team to review what personal initiatives workers could be doing in and outside of work that can help drive social and environmental impact.
