A leading print group is looking for a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail to be based at one of their client’s sites in Glasgow, and be responsible for the full end to end process of each job.

This dual function style role will require you to predominantly work as administrator for the client’s onsite printroom. You will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of orders through the online ordering system. Estimating jobs, and either producing them through the print room, or through partnered suppliers will be a key part of this role.

There is also a requirement for you to provide back up/holiday support for the onsite printroom operator. This will require printing, guillotine, folding, mailing and benchwork of all orders. Training will be given for this part of the role.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for keeping up to date and trained in all procedures
  • Knows all essential aspects of the building and workplace services
  • Responsible in ensuring accuracy when recording any data or financial information whether electronically or by hard copy
  • Responsible for complying with health and safety and site operational procedures
  • Ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Leadership and Management team
  • Skills & Competencies:

  • Previous experience in printroom/administrative duties desired
  • Ability to always maintain a positive attitude and professional tone
  • Ability to interact with employees and clients effectively with tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle situations with sensitivity and tact
  • Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive approach to work with an eye for detail
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Organisational skills and a methodical approach to dealing with the varied needs of the client
  • Strong IT skills, competent in Microsoft Office 365 applications to intermediate level
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow core processes
