The Maintenance & Grounds Team Member plays a key role in ensuring the overall upkeep, safety, and presentation of the holiday park. This is a hands-on, varied role combining general maintenance duties with grounds and landscaping responsibilities to ensure all facilities, holiday homes, and outdoor areas are maintained to a high standard. Working collaboratively within the park team, the role supports the delivery of an excellent experience for holiday homeowners and guests by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across all areas of the park.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of holiday homes, park facilities, and infrastructure.
  • Maintaining and repairing public facilities, including communal areas, amenities, and recreational spaces.
  • Inspecting and supporting utility systems such as water, sewage, gas, and electrical services.
  • Performing landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, edging, planting, and general grounds upkeep.
  • Monitoring and controlling weeds, and assisting with pitch and site enhancements.
  • Preparing caravan and holiday home pitches to a high standard for guest arrivals.
  • Supporting site cleanliness through waste collection, recycling management, and safe disposal of materials.
  • Delivering and exchanging gas bottles and supporting associated operational tasks.
  • Inspecting outdoor amenities such as playgrounds and reporting defects or maintenance needs.
  • Responding to maintenance issues and resolving faults in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Engaging with guests and owners in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance where required.
  • Working collaboratively with team members across maintenance and grounds functions.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any identified issues.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in line with company health and safety standards.
  • Carrying out any other duties as required to support the operation of the park.
