My client, a forward-thinking insurer, is seeking an experienced Underwriting Team Manager to lead their growing mid-market team. This newly created position has been established due to significant organic growth and is designed to further enhance the business's capabilities and success.
Salary: circa £85,000
Location: City of London
Hybrid: Yes
In this critical role, you will be instrumental in driving the team's ambitious growth plans. You will manage a team of underwriters handling P&C risks for mid-market clients, with premiums ranging from £20,000 to several million pounds. While mid-market expertise is advantageous, it’s not essential as you’ll have access to senior professionals within the broader business to be on hand as technical referral points.
