What You'll Do: * Own the technical close process, including the preparation and production of monthly and quarterly insurance technical results under UK GAAP and IFRS 17. * Produce comprehensive quarterly closing packs and conduct detailed financial reviews, analysing variances and investigating unusual movements. * Support process improvement initiatives within the financial reporting domain, contributing to system enhancements and change projects. * Liaise directly with external auditors and ensure all reporting requirements are met with accuracy and timeliness. * Lead or assist in ongoing process and procedural change projects pertinent to core financial reporting, continuously seeking efficiency and control improvements.
