A London Market insurance broker is seeking a Professional & Financial Lines Technician to provide high-quality technical and premium processing support to its Professional & Financial Lines Broking team. This role will support the placement and servicing of Financial Lines insurance risks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and delivery of a high standard of service to both clients and insurers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support brokers in the placement and servicing of Financial Lines policies, including D&O, PI, Crime and Cyber.
- Prepare, process, and issue insurance documentation including Quotations, MRCs, Endorsements, Debit Notes, and Credit Notes.
- Ensure all documentation complies with FCA, internal, and London Market requirements.
- Process premiums, APs and RPs in line with agreed terms and market procedures.
- Liaise with clients, insurers, and finance teams to resolve premium and accounting queries.
- Assist with the production and processing of bordereaux where applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of placements, premiums, and bordereaux.
- Support compliance requirements under the AR framework and internal standards.
- Assist with reporting and data analysis to support management and board updates.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience as a Financial Lines Technician within the London Market.
- Understanding of Financial Lines products (D&O, Professional Indemnity, Crime, Cyber), or a strong willingness to develop technical expertise.
- Familiarity with London Market processes and documentation.
- Experience using broking systems (e.g. Whitespace or similar platforms).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Proactive, collaborative team player with high professional standards and integrity.
