North American Property Broker to join a well-established and highly respected insurance broker, with a particular focus on

North American Property binder and delegated authority business .

The role would suit an experienced North American Property broker who is looking to develop their career within a specialist and growing team.

Previous binder experience is desirable but not essential -the key requirement is a strong understanding of North American Property and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients and markets.

You will be involved across the broking lifecycle, working on new business, renewals and the placement and management of North American Property risks, with the opportunity to develop significant expertise within the binder/delegated authority space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Broking and placing North American Property risks into the Lloyd’s and London Market.
  • Managing a portfolio of North American Property business, including new business and renewals.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with producing brokers, clients and underwriting markets.
  • Working closely with underwriters to negotiate terms, coverage and pricing.
  • Supporting and developing the team's binder/delegated authority portfolio.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business.
  • Reviewing submissions and assessing risk information to determine appropriate markets and placement strategies.
  • Managing the broking process from initial enquiry through to completion.
  • Ensuring a high level of service is provided to clients and producing brokers.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across broking, technical and operational functions.

About You

The ideal candidate will have

  • Experience within

North American Property broking .

  • A good understanding of the North American Property market and London Market placement.
  • Strong broker, client and market relationships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities.
  • A commercial and proactive approach to developing business.

Binder/delegated authority experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.

  • A genuine interest in developing within the binder and delegated authority space.
