Overview

A well-established global Lloyd\’s Broker is looking to appoint an experienced Marine Broker Support professional to join their collaborative and high-performing Marine team. This is a key role supporting the placement and servicing of a diverse international portfolio of Marine risks. The position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of the London Market to advance their career, working closely with brokers and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full pre- and post-placement process, including documentation, Evidence of Cover, and endorsements
  • Act as a key liaison between clients, brokers, underwriters, and internal teams
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and markets, ensuring high service levels and responsiveness
  • Support the broking team with marketing materials, contract renewals, and compliance checks
  • Coordinate with compliance, legal, and actuarial teams to meet regulatory standards
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and data analysis for placements and renewals
  • Assist in drafting slips and reviewing market documentation for accuracy and compliance

Experience & Requirements

  • Previous experience in a broker support or technical role within the London Market, ideally within Marine insurance
  • Strong understanding of classes such as Marine Hull, Cargo, IV, War, and Liability
  • Experience working with slips, endorsements, and market presentations
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance processes within Lloyd\’s/London market
