My client is looking for an experienced Commercial Motor Underwriting Support professional to join a high-performing Fleet underwriting operation, supporting a portfolio of complex UK and Irish commercial motor risks. This role sits at the heart of the underwriting function, providing technical, administrative and broker‑facing support across the full policy lifecycle.
The successful candidate will act as a key link between underwriters, brokers and insureds, ensuring policies, endorsements, declarations and premiums are processed accurately and within agreed service levels. The position offers exposure to large fleet accounts, high premium volumes and a fast‑paced underwriting environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting underwriters with renewal preparation, including compiling and validating policy and claims data to enable accurate pricing and underwriting decisions.
- Processing new business, renewals, endorsements and mid‑term adjustments, producing policy documents, certificates and schedules in line with internal and regulatory standards.
- Managing fleet declarations and premium adjustments, translating broker data into accurate policy and premium changes.
- Handling fleet credit control including broker statements, reconciliations, premium allocation, instalment plans.
