Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract Immediate I am working with a leading global specialty insurer who are looking to appoint an Underwriter to join their US E&S / Binding Authority team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. The role is an interim appointment to provide cover for family leave, with an urgent requirement for someone who can step into the team and contribute quickly. Managing and monitoring a portfolio of binding authorities and delegated relationships. Reviewing submissions, underwriting information and portfolio performance. Monitoring portfolio performance against agreed business plans and underwriting objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience within the US E&S / specialty insurance market, with exposure to one or more of the following: Underwriting analysis and performance monitoring Experience managing or monitoring MGA / coverholder relationships. Strong analytical and commercial skills. The ability to work independently and make an immediate contribution. 12-month FTC with an immediate requirement.
