A unique opportunity to help shape the future of a well-capitalised insurance platform. We're seeking a commercially minded insurance professional to lead the identification, assessment and development of strategic insurance partnerships, with a particular focus on co-insurance opportunities. This is not a volume-driven business development role and it is not a mandate to build a large-scale portfolio. The focus is on identifying a small number of high-quality, long-term partnerships that deliver sustainable and profitable growth. Working closely with senior leadership, you will map the market, assess opportunities, evaluate commercial and operational viability, and help determine where the business should deploy its capital and resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess co-insurance and strategic partnership opportunities.
  • Build relationships with insurers, brokers, MGAs and other market participants.
  • Conduct market mapping and opportunity analysis.
  • Evaluate commercial viability, operational feasibility and strategic fit.
  • Lead due diligence and partnership assessment activities.
  • Develop business cases and strategic recommendations.
  • Support the evolution of the platform's long-term growth strategy.

About You

You may come from an insurer, broker, MGA, MGU or reinsurer and will likely have experience in:

  • Co-Insurance
  • Delegated Authority
  • Strategic Partnerships
  • Capacity Management
  • Programme Management
  • Portfolio Management

Most importantly, you will possess strong commercial judgement, a deep understanding of the insurance market and the ability to identify opportunities that create genuine long-term value.

Why Join?

  • Opportunity to shape a growing insurance platform.
  • High levels of visibility and influence.
  • Backing of a financially strong organisation.
  • Focus on quality over scale.
  • Long-term strategic mandate.
  • Genuine autonomy and impact.

This role will suit an individual who enjoys assessing opportunities, building trusted partnerships and helping shape business strategy rather than simply pursuing premium growth targets.
