Senior Proportional Treaty Technician
London | Hybrid - 3/4 days per week | Permanent

A leading London Market insurance business is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Proportional Treaty Technician to join an established and growing team.

The role will focus on supporting a portfolio of proportional reinsurance contracts, working closely with London-based broking teams and acting as a key point of contact across clients, reinsurers and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support proportional treaty accounts and associated documentation
  • Validate treaty account submissions and cash loss requests
  • Review and process profit commission statements and portfolio transfers
  • Work with LORS and the IMR
  • Liaise confidently with clients, reinsurers, brokers and IBA teams
  • Provide technical support to the wider broking teams
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing across the treaty lifecycle
  • Build strong working relationships across the business

Key Requirements

  • Extensive Proportional Treaty Reinsurance experience within the London Market
  • Strong understanding of the Lloyd's and London Market
  • Experience working with treaty accounts, cash losses and profit commissions
  • Good knowledge of LORS and IMR
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a wider team
  • Progress towards professional insurance qualifications would be advantageous, but is not essential
