I am working with a London Market insurance brokerage who are seeking an experienced Senior Producing Broker to drive new business growth and lead placements across key Non-Marine specialties, including D&O, Professional Indemnity, Cyber, and Property. The successful candidate will have strong market relationships, technical expertise, and a proven track record of developing international portfolios within the London and global insurance markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Production
- Develop and implement a targeted production strategy across D&O, PI, Cyber, and/or Property sectors.
- Identify and secure new business from domestic and international clients and intermediaries.
- Expand the firm's presence within key territories, building sustainable pipelines and relationships.
- Represent the organisation at market meetings, industry conferences, and client engagements.
- Broking & Placement
- Lead the placement of complex NonâMarine risks into Lloyd's and the company market.
- Prepare highâquality market submissions, placement proposals, and renewal strategies.
- Negotiate competitive terms, structure programmes, and secure optimal capacity for clients.
- Maintain current knowledge of underwriting appetites, pricing trends, and market developments across all relevant lines.
- Client & Account Management
- Serve as a senior technical and strategic advisor to clients in highly regulated or complex risk environments.
- Manage renewals, policy reviews, and bespoke coverage enhancements.
- Build longâterm, trusted relationships with Câsuite, risk managers, and international partners.
- Collaborate with account handlers, analytics teams, and claims specialists to deliver comprehensive service.
- Technical Expertise & Governance
- Demonstrate deep expertise across one or more NonâMarine specialty classes â particularly D&O, PI, Cyber, and/or Property.
- Stay abreast of legal, regulatory, and emergingârisk developments affecting these lines.
- Ensure compliance with all internal procedures, Lloyd's regulations, and FCA requirements.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, mentoring junior brokers, and supporting broader team development.
Skills & Experience
- Proven track record as a producing broker in D&O, PI, Cyber, Property, or wider Financial & Professional Lines.
- Strong relationships within Lloyd's and leading international insurers/MGAs.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex risks.
- Demonstrated success in developing and managing international accounts and crossâborder programmes.
- Commercially minded, entrepreneurial, and confident in generating sustainable revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of risk profiles, market cycles, and placement strategies across NonâMarine lines.
