Become a key player in a forward-thinking Marine team within a respected Lloyd's Broker. You'll work closely with Placing Brokers, supporting complex Marine risks across global territories, including the US, North America and Europe. The portfolio covers diverse and specialised classes such as Marine Hull, Cargo, IV, War, and Liability risks.
Your Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management
- Oversee the full pre- and post-placement servicing process, ensuring seamless delivery of documentation, including Evidence of Cover.
- Develop a deep understanding of client businesses and their reinsurance programs to provide proactive support.
- Build and maintain strong client and market relationships, ensuring exceptional service.
- Liaison between stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all internal, legal, and industry regulatory standards.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, brokers, overseas offices, markets, and senior management on assigned accounts.
- Broker Support
- Conduct market security reviews for Marine carriers, ensuring financial stability and compliance.
- Prepare and update marketing materials to support the Broking Team.
- Generate data, statistics, and reports to facilitate client reinsurance placements.
- Liaise with Compliance and Sanctions Teams to complete necessary checks and regulatory reviews.
- Collaborate with Legal Teams to review and finalise commercial contracts.
- Assist in drafting slips, endorsements, and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to market standards.
- Coordinate contract renewals, ensuring all necessary legal documentation is in place.
- Work closely with actuarial and broking teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Contribute to tender and renewal presentations with well-structured data and insights.
- Maintain Compliance Review Packs to meet audit and regulatory requirements.
