A leading independent broker is seeking a highly experienced Transportation Broker to join their London-based Transportation division. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned market professional to work within a respected and dynamic team, placing complex global transportation risks and supporting the continued development of a well-established portfolio.
The successful candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, market presence, and client-handling expertise across motor, logistics, rail, marine liability, and associated transportation sectors with a focus on developing the Transportation book and delivering high-quality service and innovative placement solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of transportation clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and retention.
- Structure, negotiate, and place complex transportation risks within the London and international insurance markets.
- Leverage strong underwriter and market relationships to achieve optimal client outcomes.
- Support new business initiatives through client development and networking.
- Provide technical input on policy wording, placement strategy, and emerging market trends.
