We are currently working with a well‑established and growing Lloyd’s Broker who is looking to add an experienced Senior Account Handler to their US Marine Liability & Hull team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong technical knowledge and client servicing experience to join a highly respected business within the London Market.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of US Marine Liability & Hull accounts
- Handling renewals from inception through to completion
- Preparing and processing slips, endorsements, and associated documentation
- Liaising closely with brokers, underwriters, and clients on a daily basis
- Supporting brokers with placement activities and market submissions
- Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering a high level of service
- Reviewing policy documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Assisting with premium processing and credit control where required
- Providing technical support across the team on complex risks
Experience Required
- Previous solid experience within a London Market broking environment
- Strong US Marine Liability and/or Hull insurance knowledge
- Experience handling slips, renewals, and market documentation
- Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
- Comfortable liaising with clients, underwriters, and internal stakeholders
