A Lloyd's Managing Agency have a new opening for a Reinsurance Placement Officer. You will help to co-ordinate reinsurance placements and will efficiently administer the reinsurance placement process, and ensure the satisfactory audit documentation in line with agreed procedures.
The successful applicant will have prior experience in a Ceded Re placement function, allowing you to contribute to the team and take ownership of placements. A good understanding of contract wordings and market trends would be advantageous.
Applicants should have experience in the London Insurance Market, particularly in relation to ceded/outwards reinsurance placement for Excess of Loss and Quota Share Treaties. You will ideally have been involved in facilitating reinsurance placements for multi-entity carriers for a number of years across multiple classes of business (including Property and Casualty) lines.
Experience of post placement reinsurance operations processes including admin and reporting activities would also be useful. This will be a hybrid role.
