A growing international insurance brokerage and risk advisory firm is seeking a commercially driven and entrepreneurial leader to head its UK Retail Real Estate practice. This is a strategic leadership role focused on building and expanding relationships across the UK real estate market, advising sophisticated property owners, investors, developers, asset managers, and real estate operating businesses on complex insurance and risk solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the real estate practice, driving revenue growth, strengthening insurer relationships, and building a high-performing team within a dynamic and ambitious platform. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the growth and strategic development of the UK Retail Real Estate practice.
- Originate and develop new business opportunities across the UK real estate sector.
- Build and manage senior relationships with property owners, developers, investors, REITs, managing agents, and lending institutions.
- Advise clients on insurance programme design, portfolio risk management, and complex placement strategies.
- Work across a broad range of asset classes including commercial, residential, mixed-use, logistics, student accommodation, hospitality, and development portfolios.
- Collaborate with specialist teams across property, casualty, cyber, environmental, transactional risk, and construction.
- Develop innovative and tailored risk solutions for sophisticated real estate clients.
- Strengthen insurer and London market relationships to deliver competitive and strategic outcomes for clients.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop talent within the real estate team.
