An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Ceded Re Senior Analyst to join a growing specialty insurance business. This role will play a key part in supporting and enhancing ceded reinsurance operations, ensuring accurate treaty administration, reporting, recoverables management and process improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage ceded premium and loss reporting, collections and treaty activity
  • Ensure accurate setup and administration of reinsurance arrangements
  • Produce bordereaux, reporting and reconciliations
  • Support financial close processes and ceded balance reporting
  • Analyse exposure data and reinsurer performance
  • Identify and implement process improvements and reporting enhancements
  • Work closely with underwriting, claims, finance and reinsurance teams
  • Liaise with brokers and external partners regarding documentation and reporting requirements

About You

  • 5+ years’ experience within ceded reinsurance operations or reinsurance accounting
  • Strong understanding of quota share, treaty and facultative arrangements
  • Experience within delegated authority/MGA business beneficial
  • Knowledge of bordereaux management, reconciliations and financial reporting
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Professional qualifications (e.g. CII) advantageous
