My client is looking for a Business Operations Technician to join their team supporting client market operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, proficiency in MS Office, and an interest in Lloyd's market processes and broking systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Check accuracy of slips and endorsements passed to Business Operations for processing.
- Produce client debit/credit documentation and liaise with Client Market Teams daily.
- Produce premium closings for insurers outside standard market channels.
- Draft EOC covering emails and Letters of Undertaking for the Marine Specialty Department as required.
- Process premiums using MRSL (Non-EU risks) and Academy (EU-impacted risks) broking systems.
- Produce LPANS for Marine & PCS (Property, Casualty & Specialty) risks for submission to Xchanging.
- Load documents onto the A&S Repository and submit accordingly.
- Resolve queries from Xchanging (Lloyd's, ILU, Lirma) and underwriters related to premiums.
- Assist Accounts Department with premium-related queries.
- Submit correction requests to Xchanging for instalments via Deferred Settlement Scheme.
- Support internal improvements and technology development projects.
- Attend training courses as required.
Skills & Knowledge
- Proficient in MS Outlook and confident in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Accurate attention to detail with strong written communication skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively and work under pressure
- Comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organisation
- Knowledge of Xchanging systems advantageous
