Our client is a long-established and highly respected Lloyd's broker with a strong reputation for delivering bespoke insurance solutions across multiple Professional lines. With an emphasis on professionalism, integrity, and client service, they continue to expand their Professional Indemnity (PI) offering and are seeking an experienced Professional Indemnity Broker to join their growing team in London.
As a Professional Indemnity Broker, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of PI clients across a range of professions, while supporting the placement of complex risks into both Lloyd's and company markets. You'll work closely with clients, underwriters, and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and maintain the highest standards of service.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and market contacts.
- Handle new and renewal PI placements from start to finish, including preparation of market presentations, slips, and endorsements.
- Negotiate competitive terms and coverage with underwriters across the Lloyd's and company markets.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on policy structures, wordings, and risk management.
- Identify cross‐selling opportunities and support the growth of the PI book.
- Liaise closely with account executives, claims teams, and compliance departments to ensure all processes meet regulatory standards.
- Keep up to date with market trends, emerging risks, and developments in the professional indemnity sector.
- Minimum 3‐5 years' experience in Professional Indemnity insurance within a Lloyd's or London Market broker environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of PI.
- Proven ability to build and maintain long‐term client and market relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
