The Opportunity

A specialist insurance brokerage is looking to appoint an experienced Aviation Insurance Broker to join its growing London Market team.

The role would suit an established Aviation professional with a strong network of clients and market relationships, who can transfer or develop a book of Aviation business and play a key role in the continued growth of the division.

The business is open to discussing a package that reflects the candidate's experience, relationships and potential revenue contribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop an existing portfolio of Aviation insurance business across the London and international markets.
  • Develop new business opportunities through established client, insurer and market relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to transfer an existing book of business into the brokerage.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Aviation clients, insurers, Lloyd's syndicates and international markets.
  • Negotiate terms, coverage and pricing with underwriters to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Contribute to the strategic growth and development of the Aviation division.

The successful candidate is likely to have

  • Significant experience within

, ideally within the Lloyd's/London Market.

  • An established network of Aviation clients and strong relationships across the underwriting market.
  • A demonstrable track record of producing, placing and retaining Aviation business
  • An existing portfolio or book of business that could potentially be transferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Aviation insurance products, market structures and London Market placement processes.
  • A proven ability to generate new business and develop existing client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • An entrepreneurial approach and the ability to operate autonomously while contributing to a wider team.
