A leading London Market broker is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a driven insurance professional with 5+ years' experience across the London and Lloyd's markets, with strong technical knowledge of commercial lines including Liability, Accident & Health, Marine, and Kidnap & Ransom.
You will manage a portfolio of commercial clients, deliver exceptional service, and support placement activities across a diverse mix of risks.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring high service standards and strong retention.
- Handle all client servicing, renewals, and mid-term adjustments with accuracy and efficiency.
- Work closely with brokers and underwriters in the London and Lloyd's markets to secure competitive terms.
- Prepare and present market submissions, renewal strategies, and client reports.
- Identify cross‐selling and upselling opportunities across Liability, A&H, Marine, and K&R lines.
- Maintain strong working relationships with market contacts, staying current with market trends and underwriting appetite.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, FCA regulations, and industry standards.
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the London and Lloyd's insurance markets.
- Solid technical knowledge of Commercial Combined, Liability, A&H, Marine, and Kidnap & Ransom insurance.
- Proven track record in client management and retention.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Cert CII/Dip CII desirable (or working towards).
