An established Lloyd’s broking group is seeking a Senior Property Broker to join its Property team, focusing on the LATAM market. The role sits at the forefront of placing large and complex property risks into the Lloyd’s market, working closely with senior underwriters, overseas producing offices, and key regional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the placement of complex Property risks for LATAM clients into the Lloyd’s market, including layered and structured programmes.
  • Act as a senior technical referral point within the Property team, supporting junior brokers on placements and market strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Lloyd’s underwriters and regional LATAM stakeholders.
  • Manage the full placement lifecycle, from pre-placement strategy and negotiations through to binding and post-placement activity.
  • Work closely with overseas offices and producing brokers to understand client requirements and deliver tailored market solutions.
  • Support new business initiatives and contribute to the ongoing development of the LATAM Property portfolio.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience broking Property risks within the Lloyd’s market, ideally with exposure to large and complex placements.
  • Strong understanding of the LATAM market and its specific risk and regulatory considerations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead placements independently and operate at a senior broker level.
  • Excellent market relationships within Lloyd’s and a credible presence with underwriters and clients.
  • Commercially minded, technically strong, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
