A London market insurance business is recruiting for a Credit Controller.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all credit control matters, working collaboratively with the operations, finance, broking and underwriting teams to address aged debt and proactively identify risks.
  • Collect and reconcile all insurance premiums, and produce and send out broker statements and invoices.
  • Liaise with brokers and other debtors to chase overdue premiums and remittances through a variety of channels.
  • Accurately record all debt recovery in the appropriate ledgers.
  • Develop an effective credit control process and solutions that can be implemented across the business.
  • Provide regular MI for internal and external use.
  • Review legacy unallocated cash and settle where possible.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must have previous credit control experience gained within the insurance sector.
  • Possess excellent negotiation and communication skills to ensure timely debt recovery.
  • Have an analytical mindset with the ability to assess credit risk and flag potential bad debts.
