A leading independent Lloyd’s broker is recruiting for a Senior IBA Technician to fill a newly created role within their team following a period of sustained growth.
Reporting to the IBA Manager the successful applicant will be responsible for bank reconciliations and cash matching, income ledger administration, preparation and processing of premium, commission and claims payments, monitoring credit risk, funding, unallocated cash, un-forwarded balances and unrealised Brokerage, production of intracompany reports and associated schedules, query resolution in relation to receipts of unexpected or unidentified funds, liaison with international offices providing IBA support plus any other ad hoc duties required when working on a multi-currency and multi company ledger.
Applicants must have extensive previous experience working in an IBA role, have working knowledge of client money rules and legal principles, strong excel skills, and enjoy working in a busy and fast paced environment.
