Our client, a respected and expanding insurance broker, is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Executive with a construction focus to drive new business growth within the construction sector.

You will work across a range of construction-related commercial insurance products, supporting contractors, developers, and associated trades.

Candidates may inherit a small book of construction clients if desired, or alternatively build their portfolio entirely from scratch.

Key Responsibilities Generate new business within the construction industry, targeting contractors, developers, trades, and related sectors.

Build and manage your own sales pipeline through networking, referrals, targeted outreach, and sector engagement.

Convert incoming warm leads provided by the brokerage into long-term construction clients.

Conduct client meetings, assess risks, and design tailored insurance programmes for construction businesses.

Work closely with broking/support teams to secure competitive terms and ensure smooth placement and renewal processes.

Maintain strong relationships with insurers, particularly those specialising in construction, to stay informed of market developments and emerging products.

Provide ongoing client service, ensuring high retention and opportunities for account growth.

Optionally manage and grow a small inherited book of construction accounts.
