They are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to join their London office. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of their premises, supporting a professional, high-performing environment.Role OverviewAs Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full range of facilities functions across the London office.
This includes premises maintenance, office services, H&S compliance, space planning, supplier management, and supporting office relocations or refurbishments. You will be the go-to person for creating a safe, efficient, and welcoming working environment for all staff.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily operations of the London office including reception, mailroom, and office services.Maintain health & safety and fire safety compliance, including conducting risk assessments and maintaining records.Oversee vendor and contractor relationships for cleaning, security, maintenance, and building services.Support space planning, desk moves, and workplace optimisation initiatives.Manage building access systems, security protocols, and visitor management.Coordinate office improvement projects, refurbishments, and equipment procurement.Lead sustainability and workplace wellbeing initiatives.Support business continuity planning and emergency procedures.Manage office supplies, budgets, and invoices for relevant services.Act as the primary contact with the building management company.Skills & ExperienceProven experience in a facilities management role within a corporate/professional services environment (insurance or financial services desirable).Strong understanding of building services, office health & safety, and compliance requirements.Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Confident managing third-party suppliers and service contracts.Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to resolve issues swiftly.IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent qualification preferred.What's on OfferCompetitive salary and benefitsOpportunity to join a well-respected and collaborative teamDynamic and modern office environment in the CityInterested in learning more?
