Data Management Analyst - Data Governance
London / Hybrid
12 Month FTC
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data quality rules, profiling routines and reporting dashboards.
- Support metadata, classification, taxonomy and data labelling across the business.
- Monitor data and AI systems, including areas such as bias, drift and performance.
- Analyse data to identify trends, anomalies, risks and potential areas for improvement.
- Maintain clear documentation around data lineage, processes, controls and governance.
- Support data and AI risk assessments and wider governance activities.
- Carry out root-cause analysis, reporting and other ad-hoc analytical work.
- Work with stakeholders across Digital, Risk & Compliance, DPO and business teams.
What They're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a Data Analyst / Data Management role.
- Strong experience with data quality, profiling and data analysis.
- Good understanding of metadata, data lineage, classification and taxonomies.
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts, particularly model monitoring, bias, drift and performance testing.
- Experience working within a regulated environment, ideally insurance or financial services.
- Understanding of GDPR, data protection and responsible AI principles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
