I am working with a well-respected global insurance brokerage who are looking for a broker with around 3 years’ experience in the Credit & Political Risk (CPR) insurance market to join their team. This role provides the opportunity to deepen technical knowledge, strengthen market relationships, and gain hands-on experience in structuring and placing solutions for financial institutions and corporates. The successful candidate will work closely with senior brokers, supporting placements and gradually taking on more responsibility with clients and underwriters.

Responsibilities

  • Client & Market Support
    • Assist with the servicing of client accounts, handling day-to-day queries and documentation.
    • Build and maintain constructive relationships with underwriters in the CPR market.
    • Support senior colleagues in delivering tailored solutions to clients.
  • Placement & Execution
    • Prepare and review submissions, placing slips, and policy documentation.
    • Support negotiations with insurers to secure competitive terms, under guidance from senior brokers.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth and accurate execution of transactions.
  • Research & Market Awareness
    • Monitor political, economic, and financial developments that may impact credit and political risk.
    • Contribute to client presentations, proposals, and reports.
    • Assist in preparing materials for business development initiatives.
  • Operational & Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
    • Maintain accurate records of placements, client interactions, and market activity.
    • Provide administrative and analytical support across the team.
