A London market Underwriting business is recruiting for a Credit Controller.
Reporting to the Finance Operations Manager and joining a small but established team the successful applicant will assist with all aspects of credit control including sending out monthly broker statements, dealing with broker/client queries in a timely manner and being proactive in chasing outstanding funds.
You will also liaise with underwriters when action needs to be taken on outstanding amounts, input funds received from various bank accounts into the in-house system, reconcile premium banks accounts and claims float bank accounts, create Direct Debit mandates, and set up payments for monthly premium settlements/commissions payments.
Applicants must have previous credit control experience gained within an insurance business, possess strong excel skills to manipulate data and be comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels both inside and outside the company.
