We are working with a highly regarded London Market brokerage seeking a Broker Technician to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance professional to join a collaborative broking environment, providing technical and operational support to brokers across a varied portfolio of business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, draft and process slips, endorsements, evidence of cover and other market documentation.
- Ensure all documentation is technically accurate and compliant with market and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with brokers, underwriters and internal departments to facilitate the smooth placement and administration of risks.
- Process new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments.
- Create and maintain UMRs and policy records.
- Upload and manage documentation through market systems including PPL and other relevant platforms.
- Monitor outstanding documentation and assist in resolving technical queries.
- Work closely with premium processing, claims and IBA teams to ensure efficient business flow.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all client and market information is up to date.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Broker Technician, Insurance Technician or similar technician role.
