A London market insurance business is recruiting for an Anaplan Model Builder on a full time permanent basis to strengthen its FP&A team. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this role is targeted at an experienced Anaplan model builder to assist with the building of all modules, mappings, front ends, datasets and outputs within Anaplan supporting FP&A as well as the wider company in replacing existing Excel planning models.
The successful applicant will need to understand existing Planning Forecasting Excel models and replicate, enhance and streamline these models within Anaplan, load data into Anaplan in line with existing models and results, build all Anaplan mapping, calculation and output modules required for forecasting planning deriving forecast profit and loss statements as well as balance sheet positions for all entities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Understanding the various differences between the Company and Syndicate requirements including variations due to IFRS and UK GAAP reporting.
- Building Anaplan front ends to enable the capture of data inputs from other departments across the business.
- Building a suite of review outputs to accurately and efficiently show actuals/plans/forecasts in various forms.
- Building Anaplan reports where required.
- Being responsible for inputting and maintaining all mappings, hierarchies and lists within Anaplan.
Applicants must be experienced Anaplan Model builders to a high level with experience gained within the insurance or wider financial services sector.
