An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Aerospace Technical Assistant to join a well-established and growing London Market insurance business. This role is suited to a technically strong insurance professional with proven Aerospace experience who is confident managing complex technical processes, supporting operational teams, and ensuring the accurate handling of premium calculations, bureau processing and IBA-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and process complex slip and endorsement wordings.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate premium calculations, including brokerage and tax calculations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to Account Handlers on policy documentation and wordings.
  • Manage and resolve Velonetic, insurer and IBA queries in a timely manner.
  • Act as the main technical contact for the offshore processing team, ensuring queries are resolved accurately and efficiently.
  • Support the administration of complex Aerospace portfolios, maintaining the highest standards of technical accuracy and compliance.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth processing of business.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all work complies with Lloyd's and London Market procedures.

Skills Experience

Previous experience in a Technical Assistant role within the Aerospace sector is essential.
