Location: London The Opportunity A leading independent London Market insurance broker is looking to appoint an experienced Account Handler to join its established North American Special Risks team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected brokerage with a strong international presence, working alongside experienced brokers on a varied portfolio of US Property and Delegated Authority business.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the placement and administration of Binding Authority business, working closely with brokers, insurers and Coverholders to ensure the efficient handling of risks and delivery of exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities Prepare, review and process Binding Authority Agreements (BAAs) and associated endorsements.
Liaise with Coverholders and insurers to obtain agreement and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
Maintain and validate broker system records and ensure Coverholder compliance requirements are met.
Calculate and process Profit Commissions where applicable.
Support brokers with the binding and issuance of policies in accordance with delegated underwriting authorities.
