We are working with a highly regarded insurance brokerage that is looking to hire a Junior Insurance Broker to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a school leaver or recent graduate looking to build a long-term career within the insurance industry. No previous insurance experience is required - the key requirements are a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, confidence and a genuine interest in developing a career within financial services.
You will receive full training and ongoing support from experienced brokers, giving you the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge, market relationships and broking skills.What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting senior brokers with the placement and servicing of insurance business.
  • Liaising with clients, insurers and underwriters.
  • Preparing and reviewing insurance documentation.
  • Assisting with new business and renewal processes.
  • Researching insurance markets and identifying suitable insurers.
  • Developing an understanding of different insurance products and risks.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and market contacts.
  • Assisting with negotiations and placement of risks into the London Market.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.
  • Working closely with Account Handlers, Technicians and senior Brokers.
  • Progressively taking on greater responsibility as your knowledge and confidence develops.
