We’re looking for a geotechnical engineer who enjoys solving ground-related challenges, working collaboratively, and contributing to sustainable solutions. The business has built a strong reputation for high-quality ground investigations and pride ourselves in having a client-focused service.
The successful candidate would be an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in London to work largely in the south and south east of England. With a steady pipeline of work and a collaborative team culture, this opportunity represents genuine responsibility and long-term career progression. We are specifically looking for motivated candidates that have a minimum of five years' relevant experience in the planning and supervision of ground investigations and want to push their career forward. It’s a chance to lead exciting geotechnical work, mentor and develop junior engineers, and take responsibility for key deliverables both in the office and on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, supervising and managing ground investigations
- Site based work supervising ground investigation and construction
- Liaising with clients, contractors and regulators
- Undertaking geotechnical assessments and foundation recommendations
- Managing elements of project delivery, including budgets and timelines
- Supporting graduate engineers and contributing to team development
- The production of professional and technically competent reports and liaison with specialists and clients
